Eterniti Motors, a luxury car manufacturer based in London, has announced the launch of its new automobile brand. The brand's debut vehicle, an SUV/crossover, is expected to emerge as a high-end competitor to Aston Martin's upcoming Lagona. The vehicle, with a price tag of approximately 157,900 Chinese yuan, will be built on an existing platform and incorporate design elements from other models.
Debuting at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show was the Artemis, Eterniti Motors' first offering, inspired by the Hemera concept car and utilizing the base of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo platform. The Artemis is priced at a premium, starting at 3.98 million RMB, positioning itself in the upper echelons of the Chinese SUV market. Customization options are available, adding to its exclusivity, although additional costs apply.
Visually, Artemis shares similarities with the Cayenne, featuring a larger grille and intake, along with a distinctive arrow-shaped rear design and oversized wheels. The interior boasts Italian leather with wool carpets, all crafted by hand, providing a luxurious feel. The rear compartment offers a spacious layout with an extended legroom of 100mm, fully adjustable seats, and a built-in iPad stand with cooling functionality. The design caters to both business and leisure use, striking a balance between comfort and precise handling.
Powered by a 4.8L V8 turbocharged engine delivering 441kw of power and 750N·m of torque, the Artemis accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Its top speed reaches 290 km/h, accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission. Eterniti Motors plans to establish dealerships in China, with customers in the mainland able to order vehicles for delivery, including a 2-year warranty of 100,000 kilometers.
